We all have our own life. Don’t try to duplicate another person’s life.

23 years

I have come to realize how different I am in comparison to the people around me. I know no two people are identical, even twins have their differences. Nevertheless as much as we have differences we also have things in common. Living on this earth for 23 years, It seems as though I have lived for so long. If we take time and analyze it we would come to a conclusion that 23 years is not so much. By 23 people are done with university if they ever started. We can also assume that the person has moved out and started living on their own. By 23 people are excepted to be independent, and start a family. If you don’t go this route it doesn’t mean that you have failed, it only means that you are just going on your own path. Appreciate your journey, that is what makes you who you are.

Life

I was thinking about the future. We are working so hard to one day have a good life or to have a better life from the one we have now. Some of us get the opportunity to attend elementary and high school, and then proceed to college/ University and get a degree. All this hard work is put towards trying to have a good life. The question is what is a good life? One might say a good life consists of a healthy life style, another one might say a good life is making God the base to your everyday life , others might say being rich is the key for having a good life. What one person considers as a good life another might not. Our difference on how we think is one of the things that makes us different. People all around have different meaning to life, define yours based on your true inner self.

I am a work of Art

I am too shy to talk to a guy. What I mean is that I am shy to make a move, but when I think about it I shouldn’t be the one making the moves. I usually hear other girls saying that he asked them for their number. Some say I am up tight, but I don’t think so, I am trying to be as loose as I can be. Having said that I don’t want to be taken advantage of. You might think I am complicated, but I am just a work of art only few who take the time truly understand me, and when they do they end up admiring me.

The work of God is fascinating

Isn’t it amazing how no two people are the same. You can argue and say that identical twine are, but they are only the same when it comes to looks, but physically one might be fatter then the other or they might have different hair length, the point is they are not the exact same. The work of God is fascinating. When you think of how the body functions, how each organ is put in place having different function, but working for a common purposes( to keep the person alive).You can say the work of God is fascinating. When you look at the wonders of nature, the trees, flowers, and mountains, you can say that work of God is fascinating.

New Things

In a few weeks my sister will start a new chapter in her life, she will be going to America from her home country (Ethiopia). To be more specific she will be going to Cornell University in New York. She has never been away from family on her own before. I believe that the best way to learn and to be able to master something is when you face it, so far this has worked for me. I came to America around 5 years ago, when I came I was slow in typing because I didn’t use computers back home for things that required extensive typing rather just for movies. Through time I slowly managed to increase my speed. Just because my high school required that all assignments be handed in type. That is just one small example, there are plenty more. The point is that my sister will learn things as it comes to her.

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger

Different people use different ways that help them escape from all the drama that they are having and from all the difficulties that they are facing. The lyrics in some songs are so powerful, sometimes you feel like the words were written for you. when you are in your darkest time you feel as though the songs you hear, the books you read or even the movies you watch seem like they are somehow replaying that time your were very much trying to forget. You start to remember that chapter in your life from the past. As hard as it is not to think about the past, it is only better to look back and to see how far you have come. Know that you are stronger than you think for over coming those dark times in your life. As people say “what doesn’t kill you makes your stronger!”

You only have one life

You only have one life. You don’t get a do over, You don’t get a second chance. You are just given one life, one chance, one opportunity. What you make of it is up to you. How you want to live your life is up to you. Make the best of this one life you have because you don’t get another one.

Nothing is guaranteed

Nothing in this world is guaranteed. You can be in a relationship today and single tomorrow, cause nothing is guaranteed. You could have a job today and you could lose your job the next day, cause nothing is guaranteed. You can make friends today and you can lose your friendship the next day, cause nothing is guaranteed. How do we live in a world where nothing is really yours, where we can’t make sure we have that certain thing or person until the end of our time. Everything that has a start will always have an end. When we come into this world the only thing guaranteed to us is death. We don’t know when, but we all know that one day we are going to leave this earth. As sad as that sounds, we should be thankful for being given the gift of life. when we wake up each morning it means that God is not done with us, he is still giving us the gift of life. When you get awarded with the highest gift (LIFE) you should be thankful and thank the giver(GOD ).
